Well, I was hoping someone might have got a quick review up by now?

First of all a big thanks too all the bands, and all the people who helped out. Sean, Pro-tag and Tom @ The 1in12 Club, Marie and the Musicians Centre for drum-kit and the flyers, Stuart for transporting the drum-kit and Dan (& friends name i have forgot!)for helping out on the day.

Highlights for me was seeing Merry Men, not just to play but to have a beer with, been far too long! Honeytoad for being the only band to play the first Boardfest, and Kurt for playing them all!

Marmozets have changed a lot since last time I saw them, they seem to have a new direction and know where they are heading now. Was a suprise to say the least! Just Defy have also tightened up there sound, with there new guitarist John (Shame about the end cover!) First time I have seen Old School Enemy, one worth seeing again and Easy Riot Sounds seem to be finding there feet a bit more.

Boardfest 5? I'm not sure yet, the lack of punters is very off putting.

Honeytoad

I had to leave early as my non drinking chauffeur wanted to get home!!!! It was great to see so many Cypherians and say hello. It's good when bands are out all over the place to get together now & again.
For me personally it's really good to see bands progress from when I did the sound for their 1st gigs to where they are now - touring the country & Europe & beyond - just how it should be!!
Marmozets - really have changed from when I did the sound for them many moons ago - and for the better - more professional & a very powerful modern sound. Far too energetic (& loud!!) for this old fart so went outside for a smoke and they sounded just as good there!!!
Merry Men - really good to see them again - nice guys too - even bought me a beer!!!! Seems they won't be around for much longer which is a shame.
Honeytoad - as manic & heavy as ever - all good stuff (just hope the drum kit survived Gordon's ministrations to it!!) - managed to hear 3 tunes & then had to go - sorry!!!
I enjoyed the brief time at the 1 in 12 - never been b4 - rough & ready but deffo doing the right things & the beer was cheep cheep too!!!
Good night but I agree Tom - shame not more peeps turned up.

highlights for me were razorblade picnic (even though they had a pretty bad set guitar wise) because of the jade goody song, marmozets for the shear confidence and alt track for releasing mine and adams amazing dance skills.

Still a bit shocked there was no other comments or reviews?!

Twas an awesome night! I especially liked the Marmozets, the new song they played near the end was phenomenal!
